Stopped here on the way to the beach. Got our food in about 2 min. Staff was super friendly. Ordered 3 tacos, one of each meat, 2 soft 1 hard, one of each style. Food hit the spot. 3 tacos and a drink under $10. Perfect. Loved the hot Amarillo hot sauce!

Great tacos for an economical price. Simple and fresh ingredients. I recommend the chicken tacos california style and senor burrito.

Just had soft beef tacos, lots of styles to choose from. Meat tasted great and hot. Everything tastes fresh. Definitely good. Clean. Parking. Delicious.

We were staying across the street at Dream Inn and decided to try this. SO glad that we did. The place is kind of small with limited seating but there were also a couple of tables outside. I had the Senor Burrito which was a square burrito filled with rice, beans beef (shredded NOT hamburger), sour cream, cilantro, lime and salsa. The Senor Burrito has the outside covered with cheese and then grilled. It was VERY tasty and I would not hesitate to go there again. You can get different styles to have your items served (Senor, California or Mexican styles) but I had mine Senor Style and it was great. Keep in mind that there were no chips or any sides served with the meal but you can get them as well. Personally, I'm almost glad they didn't come on the side since the Burrito filled me up and I hate throwing out things that I did not eat. Give it a try!

I came here for lunch one day while on vacation. I ordered the chicken tacos Mexican style and a side of guacamole and chips. The girl at the counter gave off this "I don't want to be here and you're interrupting my day" vibe. I almost felt bad about ordering. The tacos looked really good, tasted O.K. The guacamole was good and came with a lot of chips (really too many as I threw most of them away). I wasn't inspired to go back.

First all, the place is like a chic Mexican hole in the wall clean but not big at all. Three tables inside and a few outside. Not a chipotle but at their prices. Ordered the senior burrito $7.50 x 2, chips and guacamole to share, 2 drinks, the whole meal came to 24 bucks. Ok I know right quality over quantity but for me it wasn't an amazing experience. The burrito is presented nicely but It's not very big. I would recommend selling it at $5.50 price point. I have to also say the price includes nothing just the burrito and it's very plain. I will say thought that the burrito is made with the cheese on the outside making your hand just a little greasy. No sour cream or anything. Now I can say I've been but I won't go back unless someone elseis paying for me

They were compliant when a member of our family asked that her meal be replaced after she found a hair in her meal. Not surprised that this happened considering the open kitchen showcases the lack of hair nets of their non-groomed kitchen staff. The food was not very tasteful, but priced in the Chipotle range. I asked for some extra salsa to give our food some amount of flavor and was charged for it. The best part about this place is that there was no line because locals know not to go there. Go down the street to burger king.

Employees were nice. The wait the food was about 30 minutes. The food was very mediocre. Not a place I'm likely to visit again. About $10 per person.

This newly established taco joint is every bit as good as I'd hoped it would be. I work just up the road in the Shores and there's not many quick lunch choices within a short drive. I've been here numerous times now and haven't been disappointed yet. The staff is always friendly when taking my order, and the food is always prepared quickly. I've had everything on the menu from burritos to tacos to nachos. It's all great! Today I had the fish tacos and they were pretty good too. They were a little shy on the amount of fish, but the flavor was great! This place is a nice gem!

We waited 45 min for our food as a to go order. The guacamole was not even half filled in a small container (not worth the money) and the California style tacos were horrible to be honest- all coleslaw and we couldn't find the fish in the fish taco and only 3 pieces of shrimp in the shrimp tacos. There was no sour cream or cheese or even salsa in them. The burrito was decent- big and tasted good. They were out of two of the four meat choices (on a Wednesday!) But overall the food was terrible. For the lengthy wait (no apology of course...) we were expecting the best tacos around! Severely disappointed and won't be going back.

Good place to stop for a lunch break. Good food but they nickel and dime ya, couldn't salsa substituted for pico de gallo on a chicken taco without paying an extra 1.50. Other then that good little restaurant.

I went here for lunch because it was the closest place I could find. I was presently surprised once I got my food. It was not a sit down Mexican restaurant, where they bring out chips and salsa, it was more fast food Mexican restaurant. I got the the chicken tacos and loved them. The chicken is shredded and very flavorful. They put a lot of cheese on the tacos and can prepare them three different ways. The only reason I give them 4 starts is because they use preshredded cheese which I am not a huge fan of. I have recommended this place to a few coworkers and they loved it too. They recommended the fish tacos to me, so that will be my next meal there.

We wanted a quick lunch and decided on Senor Taco. The lady at the counter recommended the Senor Burrito. Its a square grilled burrito. Great choice. I ordered it with chicken and black beans. I asked for Senor style, which had sour cream, cheese, lime and lettuce. It was very good and very filling. I could not eat the whole thing. My husband finished my burrito and he liked it too. He also had 3 beef tacos with their hot sauce. He loved them. We will definitely make this a regular stop on our yearly visits to Daytona Beach.

I have had fish tacos all over this continent and I have found the best. Señor Taco is one of many reasons I will be coming back to Daytona Beach.

Worse tacos ever. Canned chicken and each taco was dripping wet. Now I know why there were no reviews.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
